May 2016 Newbie Run - OF4WD

Are you new to off-roading? Do you have no experience? Do you not have anyone to show you the ropes?

If you answered yes to any of the questions join the Sheppard run Saturday May 28th, 2016 8am ! Grizzled veterans need not apply!

This is a no pressure guided run for up to 28 new OF4WD driver's through the beautiful five points trail system. At 8 am participants meet at the South Wind Motel & Campground in Minden for a morning cup of joe (make sure you bring your own as it's not provided) and a little off-road ground school. An hour later we will depart for the trails.

This is a one day event. There is no fee associated with this event but you must be registered. Those who are not registered will be turned away. Passengers are welcome. You will be responsible for your own food and fuel.

 Due to limited space we ask that members only attend one newbie run. If you have been before please leave a space open for someone new.

Here's what you need:

• 4WD truck

• Recovery points

• Lunch and refreshments.

• A full tank of fuel

• A great attitude and sense of adventure

• Absolutely ZERO alcohol, if we see it the OPP will be waiting at the end of the trail for you.

Here's what we recommend.

• Off road tires.

• A CB radio to listen in on the banter of the guides
